People from across the country staged protests in their respective cities on January 16, 2013 against the targeted killings of Shias in two blasts in Quetta on Thursday that left over a 100 dead.

PESHAWAR:

A large number of people on January 16, 2013 staged a sit-in alongside 15 bodies of their loved ones in front of Governor House in Peshawar were forced to disperse after police resorted to baton charges and firing tear gas

Huge coverage to Quetta sit-in by media and a positive response by government. (which is good)

however, a very little coverage to Peshawer sit-in by media and shelling by police on these protestoes..
